Armenia updates payment and settlement document requirements
On 1 October 2026, CBA Resolution 258-N was officially published, updating requirements for payment and settlement documents. The act was adopted on 25 September and expressly took effect on 2 October 2026.
The amendments concern the minimum details required in documents used for payment and settlement transactions and the rules for completing them. The CBA states that the changes address a broader range of providers’ services and the documents used by payment and settlement organisations.
The decision updates the regulatory framework for documenting payment transactions. Specific amendments are set out in its appendix. Providers reviewing forms and internal procedures should distinguish the effective date from both the board meeting date and official publication.
