Kazakhstan approves a 65-measure digital assets action plan
On 15 September 2026, Kazakhstan’s Government approved a joint digital assets action plan with the National Bank, comprising 65 measures across ten areas.
Priorities include real-world asset tokenisation, payment infrastructure, the digital tenge and consumer protection. The National Bank is to identify assets for priority tokenisation and coordinate implementation. Further tasks concern cybersecurity, professional skills and international settlements. Approval sets the agencies’ work programme; it does not automatically authorise every proposed project or instrument.
